
Fellowship from St.Stephen’s College, New Delhi

I am delighted to share that I have been awarded with the Title of “Fellow”, under the Young Leaders Neighborhood- First Fellowship Program from the prestigious St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi. This program was sponsored by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India under the Neighborhood- First policy program of Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India.
This title was awarded by Shri. Arindam Bagchi, the Joint Secretary and the Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs and Prof. John Varghese, the Principal of St. Stephen’s College.
Expressing my gratitude to the India in Sri Lanka (High Commission of India, Colombo) and India in Sri Lanka – AHCI, Kandy for selecting me for this esteemed program. Twenty-one young and talented professionals from #SouthAsia participated in this program. Extensive training in policy-making, administration, sustainable development, technology, science, law, and culture was the concept of this Fellowship. My paper and thesis on “Sustainable Development for the plantation Sector in Sri Lanka” was acknowledged as all academic proposal in the program. I dedicated this paper to the Plantation Community in #SriLanka and our great leader Hon Arumugan Thondaman
