Appointment as the Chairman of The Plantation Human Development Trust

 Appointed as the Chairman of the Plantation Human Development Trust (PHDT) by Minister of Water Supply and Plantation Infrastructure Development, Jeevan Thondaman.

The PHDT is a prominent organization responsible for human resource development, infrastructure and sector development of the plantation sector.

He also holds the post of Vice President of the Ceylon Workers’ Congress. It is noteworthy that he is also in charge of the party’s International Affairs.
